I’m not sure there is a finer collection of songs on one complete ’modern‘ pop rock albums. Granted, ‘Rock and Roll’ as an sonic social movement is only 50+ years old, this album is timeless. Oasis gets lumped into the “Brit Pop” headline all too easily. There’s more soul to the music than that. (same for Blur and Verve) Attention Noel + Richard: Carpe diem.
