Great song for a Tuesday morning on the upper East Coast. Couldn’t you visualize the rapper reading his words from the sheets they were written on, while Janelle was waiting on him to finish. I think this is one of those songs where the rapper was put into a box and had to stay there while the singer explored life outside that box. But she knew the box was important. This song has a bass exhibit fit for sound museums about the live concert experience.
